Yacht Share FAQ
Yacht Share with Sydney by Sail is simple, but there are many questions you might have before you buy a share. Here’s a few that we’ve answered for you.
All you need to bring is food, drinks, and a sense of adventure. The boat has a fully-equipped kitchen with all plates, cutlery, pots, pans, kettle etc., all of which is cleaned afterwards by our staff as part of the Yacht Share program. Linen is also provided.
Past ownership or charter experience is helpful but as long as you have some sailing experience to a reasonable level to be able to handle the yacht, then we can train you further to a level where you’ll be able to comfortably operate your boat.

This includes the International Bareboat Skipper Certification – 1 day theory & 3 day practical course – as well as two days private tuition giving best practice instruction to improve your handling and operation skills.
